Our **Bolton** based client is seeking to immediately appoint a School Administrator with the following skills.

Applicants please read the below carefully as you will be required to have this experience to be considered.

**Experience and Qualifications**
- 5 GCSEs Grade C or above including English & Maths (or equivalent)
- Level 2 or equivalent qualification related to Administration (not essential but is beneficial)
- _**Experience working in a school office (not essential but is beneficial) or; **_
- _**Experience of working in a busy office environment **_

Overview of duties - **Supporting the Business**
- General administration support and reception duties, including answering the telephone, fielding calls, responding to queries and taking messages along with data entry, organising of meetings, room bookings and co-ordinating of diaries.
- Assisting with HR and Recruitment administration, supporting the smooth induction of new staff and the monitoring and attendance of staff across the business including updating personnel files
- Monitoring supplies and purchasing resources, stationary, uniforms etc.
- Attending weekly staff and department meetings, contributing positively to the implementation of new or changes to policies, procedures etc.
- Creation of leaflets, flyers and other handouts where necessary
- Maintaining a high level of cleanliness and tidiness relating to the office and staff room in particular

**Supporting the School**
- Monitoring pupils attendance, chasing absences, recording these appropriately and reporting when necessary to the DSL and Principal
- Being the point of contact for pupil admissions, ensuring admission forms are completed and accurate, liaising with Schools and Parents
- General support with the day to day running of the Schools, including supporting SLT with the consolidation of reports, both computerised and written and the gathering of evidence for pupil reviews and other professional meetings.
- Updating and keeping on top of welcome display board, parenting display board and the staff boards in the staff room
- Monitoring budgets including petty cash and classroom budgets.
- Monitoring supplies and purchasing school resources and groceries.
- Support the maintenance of the website
- Updating Social media accounts with activities
- Updating and sharing schools news and newsletters
- To work in line with all policies and procedures as set by Aspire.
- Knowledge of and follow safeguarding guidelines of the organisation, supported schools and linked Local Authority
- To support the promotion of positive relationships with parents, schools and outside agencies
- To ensure that all work is done with attention to detail and in a timely manner

- A good level of IT competency and experience with Microsoft office i.e. word, excel etc.

**Salary**: £18,000.00-£20,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
