**Backend Engineer - Music & Broadcasting**
**£60,000 - £80,000 + Bonus + Great Summer Hours + Benefits**

A well-established global Music & Broadcasting company is hiring a Backend Engineer to join their expanding London-based team, seeking to grow out their existing platform function. This opportunity will allow you to work on exciting project whilst learningnew technology within an extremely supportive and inclusive environment. They are seeking a motivated and commercially experienced Backend Engineer, looking for autonomy and the chance to join a successful company. This role will be focused around improvingthe features of the product, scaling up, deploying the product & supporting the wider teams.

**THE ROLE**:
As a Backend Engineer, you will have an expansive range of responsibilities, including:

- Design, development and upkeep of required software using C# or Typescript / JavaScript
- Design, development and upkeep of essential microservices and Restful API's
- Supporting and improving the platform team
- API development and working with cloud technology
- Liaising with the team members
- Mentoring
- Converting functional and non-functional requirements into code
- Establishing and promoting the use of best practices in the software engineering life cycle

**YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**:
A successful Backend Engineer for this role must have:

- Significant commercial experience as a C# or Typescript / JavaScript Software Engineer
- Commercial experience working with Restful APIs
- A Team Player attitude
- Strong communication skills
- Significant commercial experience with Cloud - AWS / GCP / Azure

Nice to have:

- Experience with SQL, CI/CD,
- DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Puppet, Ansible
- Knowledge of building serverless architecture

**THE BENEFITS**:
The salary range for this role is £60,000 to £80,000 alongside a performance bonus, pension contributions, private healthcare, hybrid & flexible working - 1pm finishes in summer, and 25 days holiday
