**Sustainability Project Manager**
This role sits inside IR35
Our client is looking for a Sustainability Project Manager to join their team for a 2 months initial contract with full intention to extend.
**The role**
The main focus of the role will be to support the embedding of climate-related activity and reporting (using the TCFD - 'Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures' framework) and helping to develop and track delivery of key projects including thenet zero transition plan, nature risk-related activity and the Group's ESG integration project.
The position will report to the Head of TCFD, but as part of the wider Group Sustainability function will play a key role in helping to progress an exciting and challenging period of strategic activity and helping to positively implement change in supportof our ambitious sustainability goals.
**What are we looking for?**
**Essential**
- Ability to plan, develop and monitor project activities in order to achieve the stated project objectives to successful delivery - within deadline and budget, to the highest standards and with proactive management of risks, issues and dependencies.
- Ability to lead the project management of new and complex initiatives, providing input to scoping of new ideas and process improvements where the opportunity arises, whilst providing appropriate challenge and constructive feedback on tasks performed withinthe project/programme.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to produce high quality documentation, including plans, action logs, status updates and governance meeting documents within quick deadlines
- Effective influencing, stakeholder engagement and management skills
- Ability to develop successful relationships and collaborate across a wide range of (internal and external) stakeholders including the project team, project sponsors and external consultants
**Desirable**:
- Project Management accreditation
- Interest or experience in broader sustainability and specific climate or nature-related activities
