**Factory Maintenance Engineer** **Salary: £28,392 PA, Overtime at time and a half** **Location: Sandy - Cambourne - St. Neots area** **Immediate start available.** A Factory Maintenance Engineer is required by long established and respected engineering manufacturing company to cover site maintenance and breakdowns. **We have two positions available, one mechanical biased and one electrical biased**. This interesting and varied "hands on" role involves working with a variety of different engineering machinery, fixing breakdowns, following monthly maintenance schedules. You must be able to work within a team, in the main production area. You will have significant experience working with most of the following and be willing to learn and train in the others: - Various site machinery. I.E. Machine Shop Mills / Lathes / Drills - Sheet Metal & Fabricating machines including hand tools, polishers, heaters etc - Assembling and fitting new equipment - Carrying out electrical works around our site - Plumbing - Cover general site maintenance and breakdowns - To maintain standards on safety, hygiene, discipline, attendance, and good time keeping - City & Guilds Qualifications / Apprentice in an Engineering discipline would be an advantage Applicants need to be very flexible as they are also required to cover general facilities maintenance around the site including other duties as required such as painting and decorating.
