**Support Worker - Drivers only**

1st Homecare, a specialist provider of personalised homecare support operating throughout Scotland. We provide a range of care and support services for vulnerable adults and children.

We’re seeking to recruit some great new support workers; people with the right values and attitude to work in our care service - could this be you?

There are a range of different shift patterns available to fit in with any other commitments you may already have.
- **Salary: up to £10.90 per hour**:

- **Mileage rate at 40p per mile**:

- **We offer Full time, Part time and Bank/Relief hours**:

- **Covering - Dumfries area**

Lochside/ Lincluden Full Time Driver required - Shifts start 07:00 to 13:30 resume 15:30 to 21:30 finish. 4 ON 4 OFF work pattern. (28hr Contract)

Locharbriggs Part Time Female only driver requried - Shifts start 15:30 to 21:30 finish. 4 ON 4 OFF work pattern. (16hr Contract)

Lochside Part Time driver required - Shifts start 15:30 to 19:00 finish. 4 ON 4 OFF work pattern. (7hr Contract)

Bank Workers - Drivers Only with availability for 07:00 starts and/ or 21:30 finish

**About the role**:
At 1st Homecare we treat our people with the same respect, care and consideration that we show to the people we support.

The duties are varied, and no two days will be the same. The people we support are individuals, and they all deserve to be treated as such. As a care at home support worker, you will provide support with:

- Personal Care
- Meal Preparation
- Administration of Medication
- Emotional Support
- Companionship

**About you**:
Our main priority for this job role is to find people with the right attitude and behaviours to match our own You don’t need to have previous experience in this field, nor do you need qualifications to get started - we’re happy to work with you to help you become an excellent support worker.

- Treats others with dignity and respect
- Works well as part of a team

**This post is considered to be Regulated Work with Vulnerable Adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scotland PVG Act 2007 and a PVG will be required to be carried out for successful applicants.**
