We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Kitchen Team Member to join our on-site catering team. Working as part of a small team, in this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, contributing to the preparation of high-quality meals and high food safety standards. **Responsibilities**
- You’ll be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of hot and cold meals, helping plan menus, and occasionally covering in the absence of the senior cook. This is a hands-on role requiring previous experience in a similar kitchen environment.
- Ensure that all food is prepared in a safe and hygienic manner, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen, including washing utensils and equipment.
- Support catering events by preparing food items as required and assisting with service.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during busy periods.
- Participate in inventory management by helping to track stock levels and report shortages.
- Contribute ideas for menu development and improvements in food presentation.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment, such as catering or restaurant settings is essential.
- Up-to-date Food Hygiene certification (minimum Level 2).
- Strong knowledge of allergens and safe handling procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small, friendly team.
- Confidence in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when necessary.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards learning new skills in the culinary field.
