We will deliver a social security system to support the people of Scotland for decades to come as a directive mandated in the Smith Commission published in 2018.

**Job description**:
The Technical Platform Owner (Senior Product Manager) is a technical delivery role responsible for the implementation, delivery and management of a single product that is high risk and sensitive or multiple products / components depending on scale and complexity which are vital to the overall technical architecture & design solution for the devolved benefits roadmap such as:
- Document Management
- Front Facing Client Systems
- Re-determination & Appeals
- Multi-Channel Contact Centre
- Logging Monitoring & Alerting
- Fraud, Debt & Error
- Payments
- Local Delivery
- MI & Reporting
- Integration

Reporting to the Platform Delivery Manager, the Technical Platform Owner will be responsible for the evaluation, options appraisal, supplier selection and successful delivery of technical components that will underpin the delivery of the Social Security Agency.

**Person specification**:

- Experience of project management with a successful track record of delivering effective IT Solutions through all stages from procurement, implementation and operational delivery
- Experience of managing internal and external ICT delivery partners through system development lifecycles
- Experience of managing multi-disciplinary IT Teams for example in-house resources, working
