New Business Account Handler

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced **New Business Account Handler** to join **Renovation Plan** (a howden company) at our offices located in **Burnham on Crouch**. If you have a background inpropertyinsurance and enjoy a fast-paced environment **Aston Lark** may be the place for you.
We are looking for a bright, personable, self-motivated individual for this role. With the customer at the heart of everything, going the 'extra mile' to deliver a superior customer service will be second nature to you.
This role offers the opportunity to develop your property insurance knowledge by working within a highly supportive and specialised team, who are committed to your career development.
**What you will be doing**:
- Assisting in achieving new business targets.
- Negotiate new business rates and loadings with underwriters
- Work with insurers to offer bespoke solutions for our clients.
- Prioritising and handling all work promptly and accurately.
- Handling all queries, whether written or by telephone, in a professional manner.
- Recording all relevant information on Acturis/other systems.
**You need to bring with you**:
- Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in providing specialist advice in the insurance market.
- Must be qualified to a minimum of Cert CII (or gain the qualification within 18 months of joining).
- Prior experience in a property insurance sales role.
- Excellent client servicing experience
- Ability to respond to changing requirements of the business and Insurance strategies
- Ability to achieve and manage targets
- Ability to identify other insurance opportunities for both existing and new customers
