Which is why we are excited to announce an opportunity to join our team as a **Security Specialist, **for a 12 month FTC based at our Coventry office and travelling across all of our sites.

The key accountabilities of this role will include:

- Supporting the delivery of our Group security strategy, working with key internal and external stakeholders.
- The development and implementation of projects focused on positive security behaviours to improve the security and culture and practices in ST
- You will undertake planned and unplanned security related audits and surveys; including the investigation of security breaches. You will identify trends in security issues, to provide an overall picture of security maturity across STW.
- You will be a visible ambassador for Security standards and awareness across STW, ensuring an increased and embedded security awareness and provide assurance that training and up skilling is taking place.
- You will develop guidance to assist operational and non-operational colleagues implement security counter measures, ensure channels for reporting security incidents and the processes for remedial actions are effective and user friendly.
- Finally you will develop relationships with law enforcement agencies and** **other third parties as appropriate to ensure that expert advice is factored into security standards and guidance and to support the reduction of crime experienced by the Company.

**WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR**

Of course, it’s important that we attract the right skill sets, and those with the right experience but we value character, positivity, and a caring attitude in equal weight.

You will need Government security clearance at an appropriate level (or willing to obtain this upon completion of role) and hold a full UK driving license.

A Security qualification would be desirable although not essential.

Finally, we’re seeking someone who can work both independently and as part of a team, The ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels is essential to ensure speedy and timely resolution of issues / problems. Finally analytical thinking skills and the ability to take ownership of any problems and manage to resolution is essential.
