We have an immediate contract requirement for an experienced import/export Co-Ordinator with a background ideally gained within International Trade, Freight, Supply chain and Manufacturing

You will be responsible for the processing of all goods being imported and exported, including the correct use of the Customs procedure codes and commodity codes required for Customs clearance and export making reference to the UK Customs tariffs.
Rules and regulations including Export Licences.
To identify and assist the Team Leader in our import & export processes and procedures to reduce costs and raise standards.

Key Skills
- Import, Export and Logistics background
- Strong administration skills, scanning, filing and data input.
- Shipping or Freight paperwork
- Custom procedure and Commodity codes
- Understand the relevant rules and regulations relating to the import and export of goods
- Computer literate and good working knowledge of Word, Excel & ERP or MRP Systems
- Good communication skills with external companies & bodies
- Well organised & results driven. Able to meet deadlines
- Attention to detail & sets high personal standards
- Flexible & adaptable
- Immediate start

Immediate start required. Initially 3 month contract paid via Umbrella
