**About the job**:
Consumer Additions are searching for a Credit Controller to join a Fine Winery. The purpose of this function is to assist the business in controlling the level of customer credit by assisting the Senior Credit Controllers in executing best practices on debtmanagement processes and ensuring they effectively harness the ERP system's full capacity.
**Responsibilities**:
- Participate in monthly credit control meetings with FWS and Events to analyse account status and develop strategies for resolving outstanding inquiries.
- Implement a procedure for contacting clients and other payment-related actions to increase cash collections.
- Collaborate with Credit Controllers to send e-Shots to various client groups as needed throughout the month.
- Review customer debt and assist the team in identifying the most important groups of clients to pursue.
- Assist in determining the viability of debt for collection by enforcing a customer stock sale or supplying data for write-off.
- Assist with the investigation into customer debts where no account manager has been assigned
- Help to identify the root cause of why debt remains unpaid and the resolution required to enable payment to be made
- Use a Credit Agency to obtain data to help identify if customers are still trading
- Update systems with new data, so invoices can be sent to the correct address and collection of debt can be made
**Requirements**:
- Work experience in a collections environment, whether it's Accounts Receivable or Credit Control
- Have used SAP to manage and monitor debtor’s ledger
- Can follow processes, with an appetite to follow up on queries and have attention to detail
- Proven record of going the extra mile to deliver exceptional service levels for customers or stakeholders
- Delivering collaborative change within a commercial/retail environment
- SAP Hybris E-commerce
- Have worked within a High Net Worth / Private Client environment
- Experience working with external credit risk agencies and insurance underwriters to monitor debtor risk levels
- A confident, authentic personality who can remain calm and balanced under pressure
