**Job Overview**:
To ensure that the hotel is fully secure, managed effectively whilst on duty, all guests are provided with the utmost attention and the cleanliness is maintained to the highest of standards at all times.

**Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

- To maintain a high standard of uniform and personal hygiene.
- Meet/greet guests in a professional, courteous manner at all times.
- Liaise with Reception and the Manager on duty upon commencement of shift.
- Check in guests according to the agreed standards set by Reception.
- To allocate rooms according to reservations list, ensuring that this is what the guest has booked, both in terms of the room itself and the rate to be paid.
- To carry out regular thorough security walks throughout the night being vigilant at all times.
- Ensure task list is completed thoroughly and sign to confirm duties are completed.
- Monitor car-park, particular during busy nights.
- When necessary, serve residents food and beverages whilst ensuring payment of such items is recorded accurately.
- Check all public areas, including toilets to ensure they have been cleaned and serviced throughout the night.
- Report any maintenance issues/safety defaults to the Manager on Duty the following morning.
- Ensure you are aware of the Hotel Emergency Procedures/ Fire Escape routes.
- Ensure strict security measures are in operation and no unauthorised person has access to any part of the hotel.
- To ensure that all areas are properly secured after the close of business.
- To ensure that all cash and floats are securely locked away.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
