iMultiply are delighted to be engaged on the position of Accounts Senior to be based in the Edinburgh city centre. This role will consider offer hybrid working, permanent contract and full-time or part-time individuals.

**The Role**

The role of Accounts Senior in Edinburgh is a newly created position which highlights the aforementioned growth. This is an extremely varied role which would be well suited to an individual who has experience of a multi-discipline role.

**On Offer**

The role of Accounts Senior will offer a highly competitive salary of £26,000 - £35,000 depending on qualifications and level of experience. A fantastic benefits package is also in place including pension, bonus, and overtime, flexible hours, hybrid working,excellent internal working culture, 35 hour week, strong company values which must be demonstrated throughout your time here.

**You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties**:

- Handling a large portfolio of clients
- Preparing annual and management accounts for a wide variety of clients across different sectors and sizes
- Forecasting and preparing business plans
- Preparing annual accounts for sole traders, limited companies and charities
- Preparing VAT returns including partial exemptions
- Mentoring junior members of the firm
- Building and maintaining client relationships
- Liaising with Senior Partners and Managers
- Coaching/assisting junior staff members

**To be considered for this position you must be**:

- A part qualified CA / ACCA professional with at least two years’ experience in a similar accounting environment
- Has a good working understanding of accounting standards/accounting principles
- Experience of preparing and analysing sets of year end accounts
- Ability to engage and influence internal & external stakeholders
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Have a good understanding of accounting cloud software packages such as Xero, IRIS or QuickBooks
- Thrives under pressure to consistently provide work of a high quality and standard
- Professional and inclusive approach to working relationships
- Enjoys working with a wide variety of client groups and sectors
