Temporary Quality Assurance Assistant

**Don & Low are currently seeking a Temporary Quality Assurance Assistant to support in the Technical Textiles Division in our Forfar site.** In this role you will be responsible for inspecting the production output to ensure that first quality tape is being produced and that the incoming raw materials meet the specification requirements.

**What you will be doing**:

- Oversee daily tank deliveries and ensure schedule compliance
- File Certificates of Analysis and retain all files for three years
- Perform daily production quality checks
- Test raw materials and finished goods per documented standards
- Record and analyse test data using computer systems
- Highlight material failures and provide daily updates on suspect quality
- Ensure accurate records for all test procedures and results
- Contribute to new product specification creation
- Collaborate on project work and participate in production activities
- Obtain and forward clock readings to maintenance
- Conduct regular quality audits and take corrective action as needed

**What we are looking for**:

- Knowledge of Extrusion Process
- Detailed knowledge of products, the process and the manufacturing equipment
- Experience in a têxtile manufacturing process
- Advance knowledge of the products, materials, processes and Test Methods
- Numeric and literary skills
- Ability to work on own initiative
