**Mental Health and Wellbeing Assistant**

- Do you want to support vulnerable individuals and give them the best opportunities possible?_

The Mental Health and Wellbeing Assistant Role will include the following responsibilities:

- Mentoring students with SEND, SEMH and Safeguarding requirements.
- Developing strong relationships with pupils; Work Experience Placements; Learning Skills Centre; and Colleges Links.
- Planning and running group sessions and 1:1 session addressing the needs of the students.

**Mental Health and Wellbeing Assistant Job Description**
- Secondary School based role
- Based in the Borough of Hayes
- £105-£115 per day
- Full-time, full academic year
- Working with Key Stage 3 - Key Stage 5
- Starting September

**Ideal Mental Health and Wellbeing Assistant**
- A graduate with an interest in SEMH or SEN
- Or non-graduates with mentoring or counselling experience is desirable
- Previous experience or a passion for working with young people to make a positive impact on their lives
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust
- Hardworking, resilient and positive
