**The role of the Business Development Manager**: As a Business Development Manager you will be tasked with contacting businesses mainly within the Public Sector where our client is on the frameworks to discuss how you can help free up storagespace where stored at their own facilities and manage their archive better than when they use an incumbent supplier. You will be able to advice on digitisation of documents once in storage, destruction of documents when they reach the end of their life cycleand digital mailrooms to help with reducing paper going to their facilities.
**Requirements for this Business Development Manager role**:
- 2+ years selling a contractual service into the public sector
- Backgrounds considered: sold frameworks, MPS, coffee, vending, office supplies into public sector, services into local authorities, document management
- Go getter, hunter mentality, patient and used to long sales cycles
**The company and culture of the company the Business Development Manager will be joining**:Although our client is not a massively corporate company they have a strong enough presence to compete with the biggest records management companies. They are private equity backed which means they are able to help clients more from incumbents to themselveseasily. All their services are regulated by the BSI too There is so much room to progress into a senior BDM role or even into Account Management.
**The package on offer for the Business Development Manager**:
- £50-60k basic
- 20-30% uncapped bonus realistic in year 1
- Kia Nero (Electric car) or Car Allowance of £475 pm
- 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
