**What you’ll be doing**:

- Acting as Propulsion mechanical SME for test and commissioning
- Assisting in developing the test and commissioning Propulsion strategy
- Assisting in creating the test and commissioning plan
- Reviewing and commenting on engineering outputs and documents
- Providing SQEP input into design decisions
- Assisting in identifying and developing the use of toolsets and software

**Your skills and experiences**:
**Essential**
- Degree/HNC/HND in an Engineering discipline or equivalent experience
- Understanding of Propulsion Systems and their test and commissioning
- Understanding of overall submarine systems and their operation
- Competent with IT systems and software (Microsoft products)
- Experience leading a team

**Desirable**
- Experience with SAP and Teamcenter

**The Test & Commissioning team**:
As a Commissioning Project Leader, you will be responsible for the line management of Commissioning Engineers across one technical discipline. This role provides an opportunity to be involved in the design stage of a submarine and development of new facilities which will support the test and commissioning strategy into and during the delivery phase. There will also be development opportunities as the organisation grows.
