**Trainee Machine Operator & Team Leader**

**Roche, Cornwall**

**Shift patterns in operation - Full time, permanent position with starting salary of £21,000 per annum**

A great opportunity to join our team and receive full in house training to learn the industry and learn how to assist run and maintain various machinery. You will learn how to set up the equipment, monitor operation, and inspect completed products, with the view to becoming a qualified Machine Operator. On offer also is the opportunity to carry out a 2-year Team Leader / Supervisor apprenticeship working towards a recognised NVQ Level 3 qualification from the BPIF. **On-site parking and canteen facilities, with 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays**

**Responsibilities: Trainee Machine Operator**
- Learning the industry requirements
- Buddy programme to assist you in completing your training
- Working on and monitoring the output against set KPI’s
- Learn the manufacturing process in detail, troubleshooting at an appropriate level and involving senior members of the team if/when you are not able to correct the problem
- Monitor and check the product quality as you will be responsible for identifying when the process is deviating from the norm and taking action to correct it
- Maintain accurate and clear documentation that proves that manufacturing is being carried out in accordance with both internal and external ISO quality systems. It is important that procedures are followed, but it is also important that it can be shown and proved that procedures were followed
- Keep equipment in good working order by performing regular inspections, cleaning, servicing along with routine and preventative maintenance to make sure the machine or process never breaks down

**Team Leader / Supervisor Apprenticeship**
- On offer after initial training period completed and satisfactory progression has been made within the primary operating role.
- Carryout induction training and attend regular apprenticeships course study groups via Microsoft teams video sessions.
- Allocate time at work to study and keep u with planned course work
- Work towards goals and tasks set by the BPIF tutor.

- Wanting to learn a long-term trade and build a career

- Good eye for detail and quality driven
- Team player, able and willing to assist other members of the team
- Able to maintain good disciplines, standards and initiative
- Able to ensure that all documentation is complete and accurate
- Desire to lead a team to get the best performance out of each shift

**Salary**: From £21,000.00 per year
