Administration/assembly Operative

An exciting opportunity to join a growing manufacturing company based just on the outskirts of Thetford. Transport is essential for this role as it is not walkable from Thetford but is only a short distance by car/motorbike.

**Key Duties**:

- Packing and dispatching the product to ensure these are stock controlled and dispatched from Sage.
- Abiding by the processes and procedures laid out by the Business Manager.
- Ensuring timely, successful and efficient delivery of products according to customer needs
- Stock Control
- Packing and dispatching
- Be compliant with health and safety procedures.
- Be compliant with Departmental Processes and Procedures.
- To ensure that all jobs allocated are completed in a timely manner.
- To assemble boxes in accordance with the Picking list provided and procedures.
- Stock takes on a monthly basis, findings recorded and sent to Admin for compiling.
- Ensure sufficient stock is always available to complete the tasks for today and any future tasks, report any shortfall of stock to minimise impact.
- Provision of dispatch information to the Director and Sales dept
- Ad hoc duties as requested by Line Manager

**Experience/skills required**:

- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Work well under pressure and to deadlines.
- To be flexible during working hours to meet the changing priorities within a working day.
- To able to work as a Team Member or an individual effectively and achieve positive results from your work
- To have a positive work ethic
- To work to strict timelines
- A logical and systematic approach to work and any tasks given
- Proficient in Microsoft office

**Hours of work**:
Monday to Friday: 07.00am - 15.30pm

**Salary**: From £12.00 per hour
