Delivery Driver Assistant

**Position**: Delivery Driver’s Assistant/Demonstrator

**Hours**:9:00am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday

**Type**: Permanent, Full-time

**Salary**: £21,000 per annum plus company bonus (circa £25,000 pa)

**Area**:Stafford and Burton Upon Trent areas

**Main Purpose of the Role**:
Due to the growth of the business, Ableworld is looking to recruit a Delivery Driver’s Assistant for the Stafford, Burton Upon Trent and the surrounding areas to support the Driver with deliveries. The role is unlike any typical delivery driver’s role, as this role will require you to carry out demonstrations of power chairs, mobility scooters and other mobility equipment ordered by customers in their homes or nursing homes; you will also get involved in installations of the equipment and products.

Full training will be provided in-house on all our products and practices.

**Duties will include, but not limited to: -**
- The transfer of stock between stores
- Demonstrating products to customers' in their home and care homes
- Deliveries to customers
- Promoting a high level of customer service in a polite and professional way
- Completing required paperwork on a tablet for customers, stores and Head office

**Skills and Experience**:

- Someone with a mature and responsible outlook on life who enjoys engaging with people of all ages
- Energetic and flexible in their approach to work, as this is a varied role
- A confident communicator with an enthusiastic and positive manner
- Have excellent customer service, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Confident in using technology (tablet) to complete the required customer forms
