We are a 56-bedded acute hospital specialising in Colorectal, Urology, Orthopaedics, Men’s Health, and Women’s Health which is provided by a friendly, professional and supportive team who are focused on being a centre of excellence for a wide variety ofsurgical procedures and treatments. You will be part of a team that cares for a wide range of surgical patients.

Our nurse-to-patient ratio is usually 1:4 which means that we can offer excellent individualised care.

**Who we are looking for**:
We are currently recruiting for an Anaesthetics Practitioner/ODP to join the busy theatre team in

The current team structure is split with specialist Theatre Scrub Practitioners and Anaesthetics & Recovery Practitioners. We are supported by a team of Theatre Porters. We have three state of the art Theatres, two of which are equipped with laminar airflowtechnology which gives extra prevention against the risk of airborne contamination and surgical site infections

The post holder will be working as part of the Operating Department team, within the anaesthetic and recovery teams, with the aim of providing the highest standard of patient care by ensuring a safe, caring and efficient service within the department.

You will assist in the preparation of anaesthetic and theatre equipment required for surgical procedures, using relevant guidelines and instructions.

You will ensure the safe custody and administration of the drugs in accordance with established hospital policies and law.

This role would be ideal for anyone who desires a better work-life balance, the rota is 5 days a week which include Early and Late shifts only, with some on-call participation
