Aspers Casino is a fantastic and modern Casino with 2 bars and a team of floor servers delivering our food and drinks throughout the venue.

As a late-night bar within the Casino, late shifts are a must, we will be flexible and operate mixed shifts, but you must be able to work any shifts from and between 9am to 5am, however this particular role is relatively 9am to 5pm, Tuesday to Saturday.

We are seeking to recruit for the position of Stores Assistant at our Aspers Westfield Stratford City site.

This position reports to the Stores Manager, and will: Support the site in ensuring there is complete and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of a wide range of goods that are delivered to and from the casino.

The role will support the Store Manager in maintaining electronic administration through efficient and compliant storage and retrieval systems as well as contributing to the positively accurate outcomes of stock takes and audits. So, IT knowledge and experience are necessary.

This role focuses on delivering the expected internal and external customer service standards. Stock movements will include beer barrels, spirits, wines and soft drinks. Able to work independently and adapt to the times.
As a Store Assistant, you will be proactive in the team to ensure the guest always comes first.

Selection Criteria (Essential)
- Responsible for all deliveries/ goods received, delivery notes and document signatures.
- Ensures Food and Drink storage and stock rotation procedures are followed in line with the Aspers Academy Food Safety Policy Stock Rotation Procedures
- Support the stock control procedures and process orders in conjunction with your Food & Beverage Manager in the absence of the Stores Manager
- Support the stock requisition procedures and process internal transfers in conjunction with your Stores Manager so we have the correct stock in place at the required time.
- Efficient delivery of stock to the relevant departments and staff room
- Responsible for the organisation and housekeeping of the Food & Beverage storage area

This role functions in a business that operates evenings and weekends, and as such full flexibility is required. The role will be expected to be available to work for any requirements within Aspers & this will mean evening & weekend
obligations outside of ‘normal’ working hours.
