**About the Role**:
We are seeking an engaging and proactive **Medical Administrator/ Receptionist** to join our team and provide essential administrative and clerical support across a variety of key areas within the clinic. As a Medical Administrator/ Receptionist, you will be integral in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our clinic while maintaining our focus on patient care and service excellence.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Organise Clinical Diaries**: Schedule appointments and manage clinic diaries efficiently to ensure smooth operations.
- **Documentation Management**: Format clinic letters, referrals, and other essential documentation, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- **Patient Liaison**: Arrange appointments, communicate with patients, and assist with the preparation of pre/post clinic documentation, including post-operative information.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work alongside the wider team to ensure the day-to-day running of services is streamlined and meets the highest standards.
- **Process Improvement**: Identify opportunities to enhance systems and processes, increasing overall efficiency.
- **Patient Experience Focus**: Always keep patient care and experience at the forefront of your work.
- **Communication**: Maintain effective communication within the clinical and administration teams to ensure seamless operations.
- **CQC Inspections**: Assist in preparing for CQC inspections and other regulatory requirements.
- **Service Development**: Contribute to the ongoing development of services and help identify proactive solutions.
- **Complex Information Management**: Occasionally manage sensitive and complex information with professionalism and care.
- **Front of House**: Ensure the highest standards of professionalism and courtesy when interacting with patients and visitors.
- **Payment & Referrals**: Process patient payments, handle referrals, and ensure all documents are efficiently managed and uploaded.
- **Support Clinical Staff**: Provide general administrative support to clinical staff as requested and assist with audits and checks as needed.
- **General Clinic Maintenance**: Ensure clinic rooms are tidy and ready for patient use, maintaining a safe and clean environment for all.
- **Reception duties**:Greeting and booking in patients.
- **Other Duties as Needed**: As our services expand, you may be required to take on additional tasks and responsibilities.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not essential
- A positive, ‘can-do’ attitude, with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: £26,000.00-£27,500.00 per year

**Education**:

- A-Level or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Medical Receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative: 3 years (required)
- Customer service: 3 years (required)
