**The Role: Kitchen Porter**

To assist in the preparation, production and serving meals in the hotel, whilst maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

**Main Responsibilities**:
To assist chefs with meals as necessary in a supportive and respectful manner.

To ensure all equipment is maintained, clean and in good working order and to report faulty or damaged equipment to the Head Chef.

To comply with Health and Safety, fire and other statutory regulatory requirements.

To ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of the hotel.

Wash up after meals. Ensure all crockery and equipment is cleaned and stored appropriately, and that the overall cleaning of the kitchen area (and, where appropriate, the dining areas) is carried out effectively.

Ensure statutory Health and Safety standards are maintained in the kitchen and dining areas.

Rate of Pay - Minimum Wage

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
