Hygiene Team Leader

**Job Summary**
We are looking for a tenacious, flexible and enthusiastic person to join our Hygiene Team. The role is responsible for ensuring hygiene plans are met whilst maintaining the highest levels of safety, quality, service, cost awareness and the engagement of colleagues.
Our Team Leaders will train and support their team to ensure operating procedures are followed whilst having a logical thought process to solve problems and suggest opportunities for improvements.
**Key Accountabilities**
- Effectively lead the team members in the area of operations on a day to day basis;
- Motivates, develops and empowers others to reach goals;
- Takes responsibility for own and others’ development **;**
- Encourages team working, assist other team members to achieve the objectives of the area or areas of operations;
- Ensuring maximum efficiency of department to meet cleaning standards and requirements within timescales and costs;
- Attainment of external audits/hygiene standards by maintaining up-to-date records;
- To provide directional motivation and support through management, leadership and coaching of direct reports to meet departmental targets;
- To manage labour and materials to ensure budgets are achieved or bettered;
- To promote a safety culture within the department/factory ensuring all H&S requirements are met;
- Ensure all colleagues are trained to agreed standards to ensure effective manufacturing at all times;
- Improve hygiene performance through measurements and projects;
- Manage waste and pest control;
- To manage facilities/amenities to appropriate standards to ensure effective operations e.g. toilets, office cleaning, laundry;
- To carry out ad-hoc projects as & when required;
- Involvement in new equipment and equipment modification sign off.
Pay: £22,880.00-£25,545.00 per year
