We are looking for an enthusiastic innovative Dietitian who would like to work as part of a team delivering a wide range of nutrition and dietetic care within Cornwall Community and across different health settings and areas of practice as part of a rotation.

This vacancy is for a full-time post based initially at Royal Cornwall Hospital, Truro for the paediatric home enteral feeding part of the rotation. You will also cover a caseload of adult community patients. This post offers the opportunity to support skills required to deliver effective efficient clinical care by rotating between different areas of clinical practice based across Cornwall.

Rotations will last 9 months.

The remit will be to contribute to the service under the guidance of the lead/ experienced Dietitians and the Service Manager. This will require the use of inpatient ward skills as well as one to one consultations and the engagement of multi professional colleagues in the implementation of practice. You will also be responsible for the supervision of dietetic assistants and contribute to student placements.

This post is based primarily at The Royal Cornwall Hospital, Truro but you will provide dietetic services across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

You will divide your clinical time between a caseload of paediatric home enteral feeding patients and adults in the community. This will involve outpatient clinics, inpatient work and school clinics.

The wider Dietetic Service has a variety of specialities including, Renal, Eating Disorders, Gastroenterology/Nutritional support, Oncology, Diabetes, Home Enteral Feeding, Paediatrics and Learning Disabilities. This post offers the opportunity to support skills required to deliver effective efficient clinical care by rotating between different areas of clinical practice.
