**Job overview**:
Ashville College, Harrogate, is looking to appoint three enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Assistants to join the Learning Support Team from January 2025.
- One permanent full-time role, working 40 hours per week, term time plus 5 additional days. The salary for this role is £23.891 per annum.
- One part time role, 32 hours per week, term time plus 5 additional days, fixed term initially until 09 July 2025. The salary for this role is £19,113 per annum.
- One part time role, 20 hours per week, term time plus 5 additional days, fixed term initially until 09 July 2025, to be reviewed annually dependent on pupil funding. The salary for this role is £11,945 per annum.
Other benefits include free parking, free lunch, free access to the College’s gym and swimming pool for you and your family, along with longer school holidays, smaller classes and staff fee remissions.

Ashville College is a co-educational, independent school for day and boarding pupils aged 2-18. The college, set in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, comprises a pre-school, prep school and senior school with pupil numbers totaling around 870, 170 of whom are in the sixth form and 100 are boarders. The school is a registered charity, administered by Ashville College Trustees.
Ashville College was founded in 1877 as a boarding school for boys by the United Methodist Free Church. Expansion over the decades culminated in a merger with Elmfield College, Harrogate, in the 1930s, by which time Ashville was the largest private school in the north of England. The most significant development came in 1982 when the school become co-educational.
