Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) team is accountable for all Infrastructure, Security, IT Operations and all End User Services and technologies. **ABOUT ETS DELIVERY**

The ETS Delivery Team is a large global team of Project Delivery professionals working with all areas of AstraZeneca, supporting functions as varied as Research & Development through to Commercial Sales in addition to ETS itself. The team delivers key strategic programmes, technology refresh and innovative and game changing digital solutions. Recent examples include delivering all the IT in AstraZeneca’s new Cambridge Headquarters, Alexion integration and the rollout of Microsoft Teams to 80,000 users.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

The Global Footprint and Infrastructure Delivery Lead reports into the Global Head of Delivery, is a member of the ETS Delivery LT and leads a Global team of Project Managers. Also a member of the Cloud and Infrastructure LT, the role oversees a large portfolio of global demand.

The Senior Project / Programme Manager leads one or a set of interrelated major global projects/programmes with a value of up to $20M. The role typically reports to a Programme Director or Capability Lead and maintains project accountability, from initiation to close, to deliver effective solutions that meet approved customer and business needs. The role is accountable for determining and delivering solutions to approved budget and schedule commitments whilst meeting required quality and compliance standards. Focus areas include stakeholder management (varies by organization), technical delivery, risk management and delivery of business benefit. This role is also required to follow established project management standards and lead / contribute to continued development of the project / programme management capability. Specifically:

- It will lead the varied demands from across the globe to ensure the correct technology is leveraged as AstraZeneca’s footprint changes, this will require a good understanding of the technologies involved as well as coaching and management skills to lead the team with a global stakeholder community.
- In terms of ETS delivery scope, it will be aligned to the Cloud and Infrastructure group, to partner on projects as part of its technology strategy roadmap
- Strategically, it will work alongside the ETS Delivery LT and other ETS LT members to support the yearly MTP process to seek funding for critical technology investments.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Oversee, drive, and approve plans for projects / programmes, including activities, resources, costs, roles, responsibilities, and quality as defined in the IT Project Management Methodology (ADF).
- Manage and coordinate project / programme budgets, forecasts, tasks, schedules, risks, change management, and status to support effective decisions and project reporting to stakeholders and review boards.
- Manage and coordinate interdependencies between projects and programme workstreams (intra-program and across portfolio).
- Manage relationships with senior business stakeholders to ensure the effective capturing of business requirements and commitment to project/program objectives. Responsible for steering / stakeholder meetings, communication of status, issues, risks.
- Drive effective risks & issues management, ensuring processes are in place and effectively used. Ensure problems resolved and escalate as appropriate.
- Build a cohesive project /programme team and provide the leadership necessary to maximize the team’s success.
- Own project / programme improvement plans and oversee execution of remediation plans.
- Manage changes to project/programme scope, ensuring that all impacts and changes are approved and appropriately communicated to stakeholders and review boards.
- Assure / develop service transition plans to ensure project delivered solutions are sustainable within a BAU operations environment, including controlled hand-over into operational support.
- Ensure the project team adheres to all standards including ADF, quality, and compliance, as well as processes, defined technical capabilities, and best practices. Establish program governance and lead Decision Point reviews, member Steering Committee meetings.
- Ensure expected benefits realization is consistent with project deliverables and clearly understood by stakeholders and project team.
