This is primarily a front of house role serving customers and working as a barista, with some washing up and table clearing; We also aim to cross-train all our staff so we’ll aim to train you on the breakfast shift (and potentially other kitchen roles) so some kitchen shifts may be included in your work rota.

**Who we are looking for**

You may have some catering experience and have worked as a barista or in a kitchen. But attitude and commitment are more important than experience. You will love good simple food and enjoy dealing with people and putting a smile on their faces..

**The job**

The majority of shifts are daytime but we’re also open early evenings on 2-3 days per week. We’re open 7 days a week so weekend work will be part of your shift pattern.

The café manager will be your line manager.

**The Café**

Since we opened in 2021 Bill’s Kitchen has established itself as one of the go-to places for food and drink in Ludlow. We have around 60 covers and we sell around 80 meals and a further 200 coffee/snacks each day.

**Pay**:
Starting rate is £11.50 per hour reviewed after first 3 months of basic training and again subsequently as you are trained in different areas.

**Hours**

This is a full time role 30-40 hours per week. You would normally work one of either Saturday or Sunday each week.
