MyCFL is working with a well-established, family run group of Day Nurseries; leaders in providing exceptional childcare for children from 3 months to 5 years old. Their qualified and enthusiastic staff believe in maintaining close relationships with the children and parents and creating a nurturing atmosphere for the children to learn. We now have a new and exciting opportunity for a **Room Leader** to join their dedicated team based near **Cookham, Berkshire.**

**Room Leader - Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- As the Room Leader, you will take full responsibility for the efficient running of the room facility day today.
- Provide an attractive stimulating range of equipment, activities and displays relevant to the age and needs of the children in the room, which encourage independence, self-motivation and eagerness to learn.
- Plan activities that support childrens learning, development and wellbeing.
- Safeguard all children and ensure their needs are met.
- Using your friendly personality, you will build positive relationships with parents, colleagues and other professionals.

**The Person - Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience**:

- A minimum of Level 3 Qualified, either NVQ or CACHE Diploma in Childcare with experience working in a supervisory role within a nursery.
- Experience working with children of the ages 3 months to 5 years old in a similar environment/Pre-school Room.
- Knowledge of childcare policy and legislation, the Early Learning Curriculum programmes and requirements for providing an integrated service for children with special educational needs.
- Knowledge of health and safety hygiene standards required.
