**£24,000.00 per annum**

**Monday - Friday, full-time, 40 hours a week / 37.5 hours a week paid.**

**9.00am to 17.00pm**

Hannah Foods are looking for a **full-time, temporary, HR Administrator** to join our family-run business based in our local depot in **Skelmersdale. **As a successful HR Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support in relation to all aspects of the employee life cycle.

We operate as a national wholesale and foodservice distribution business. Hannahs have a custom-built distribution premise with an **integrated cold store and chiller **and offer a wide range of **products including frozen, chilled, grocery, butchery, and non-food items.**

**This job role includes**:

- Drafting, distributing, and retaining a wide range of documents including contracts of employment, termination letters, addendum to contracts.
- Creating compelling job adverts and posting them on various platforms to attract top talent.
- Managing the reference, right to work and DBS check.
- Assisting with employee training and updating employee training records
- Assisting in the improvement and development of existing policies, processes, and procedures
- Providing note taking support during a wide range of meetings
- Liaising with external partners such as consultants and agencies
- Maintaining accurate employee records including auditing to ensure all documents are present.
- Assisting with the on-boarding and pre-employment processes
- Assisting with the induction and exit process.
- Assisting with the management of probationary periods, performance, and capability plans
- Managing the HR mailbox, responding to general enquires and escalating, where appropriate, to the HR Manager
- Assisting with absence management processes and documentation
- Monitoring office supplies such as stationary and placing orders when necessary.

**About you**:

- Have previous experience of working within a HR department or have relevant experience of working in a confidential working environment **(desired)**:

- Have excellent written and verbal communication.
- Have a good working knowledge of computer systems and software such as word, outlook and excel.
- Be flexible with a willingness to learn.
- Be organised and have a keen eye for detail.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a successful team.
- Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills
- Level 3 CIPD qualified
- Comfortable with MS Office packages, in particular good working knowledge of Excel
