**AIR CONDITIONING ENGINEER - LONDON - Basic Salary Up To £45000 PER ANNUM.**

Our client are a well-established HVAC Company who pride themselves on providing a high-quality service to their clients They have been installing, servicing and repairing a wide range of air conditioning and heating systems since establishing in 1964.

They are continuing to grow at an exciting rate and are looking for an Air conditioning engineer to join their team on a full time, permanent basis to tend to their customers across London and the South East.

Basic Salary of up to £45000 depending on experience.

Company vehicle, fuel card, uniform & PPE provided, mobile phone and iPad provided.

Annual leave increasing with service.

This is a Full
- time Permanent position with contracted hours Monday to Friday.

**Role & Responsibilities**:

- Carry out works to include service, breakdown repairs, replacement, and installation of new
equipment on all aspects of commercial AC systems including: VRV, VRF splits, AHUs and chillers.
- General fault finding / diagnostic skills and the ability toidentify and report on works required using
mobile devices such as an iPad.
- Test and repair basic electrical systems associated with AC systems (complex electrical work carried
out by NICEIC qualified staff).
- Maintain a detailed knowledge of AC system design,installation and servicing requirements in
accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations.
- Commission AC systems including pressure testing and controls are working effectively in line with
manufacturer standards.
- Vacuumingand refilling all types of commercial AC systemsand handing gases in line with
environmental and legal requirement.
- Working remotely and calling the office daily to check reports, further works reports, and briefing on
next booked job as required.
- Comply with all general legal requirements including but not limited to the relevant sections of the
'Health and Safety at Work Act’ (risk assessment, asbestos awareness etc.)
- Participate in out-of-hours emergency callout rota as required.
- Work flexibly, proficiently and with professionalism toensureallworks are completed in a reasonable
time to a high standard, seeking advice from you line manager when required.
- Maintain personal skills any applicable registrations.
- Attending the regular engineer’s meeting and any required training.
- Any other duties as reasonably requested.
- Being part of a team, flexibility is required at times to cover other areas.

**Ideal Person**:

- A minimum of 3 years’ experience working on air conditioning systems.
- City & Guilds F-Gas & ODS Regulations 2079 (Essential).
- City & Guilds / NVQ Diploma in Installing, Testing and Maintaining Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Systems.
- Can identify all relevant risks e.g. asbestos awareness.
- Good practical and problem-solving skills.
- 18th edition (desirable).
- Full UK driving licence.
