**Summary**:
Our client is looking for a Finance Assistant to join their friendly Wellington based team on a full-time, permanent basis. The main purpose of your role will be to undertake administrative tasks in order to help processes run as smoothly as possible. Youshould ideally possess previous experience of SAGE 50 accounting, and have strong attention to detail.

**What will you be doing as a Finance Assistant?**
- Recording cash receipts accurately onto the back-office system.
- Processing commission statements, whether electronically or in paper form and making sure that all records are maintained to standard.
- Closing of the month end on Intelligent Office in an accurate and timely manner.
- Coding and processing purchase invoices for Group Companies on Sage 50 Accounting software.
- Coding and entering bank payments for Group Companies on a weekly basis, and ensuring that Sage postings are reconciled to bank accounts.

**Skills/Qualifications of a Finance Assistant**:

- You should have some prior knowledge of the SAGE 50 accounting system.
- Sound knowledge of Intelligent Office would be advantageous.
- You will be analytical in your approach to solving tasks, with strong attention to detail.
- You should be highly organised and able to manage challenging deadlines with ease.
- You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- You will take a flexible approach to work, and be proactive when faced with new challenges.
