YachtCharterFleet is seeking an experienced Associate Editor to join our editorial team and play a pivotal role in curating and managing the high-quality content for our leading luxury yacht charter website. This position involves creating, editing, and optimising a diverse range of content, including yacht reviews, destination guides, features, and industry insights, aimed at captivating and engaging a discerning global audience of luxury charter clients.

We are looking for a talented editorial professional with a strong background in content creation and an in-depth understanding of the luxury yachting and charter industry. Your expertise in yachts, destinations, and the lifestyle associated with this sector will be essential in maintaining YachtCharterFleet’s position as the world's leading yacht charter website.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Content Creation & Management**
- Oversee the planning, development, and editing of all website content, including yacht charter reviews, destination guides, industry news, and lifestyle features.
- Write, edit, and proofread engaging articles with impeccable accuracy, tone, and attention to detail, ensuring content meets the expectations of a luxury charter audience.
- Manage and maintain the website’s editorial calendar, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality content aligned with YachtCharterFleet’s strategic goals.

**Editorial Leadership**
- Uphold and enforce YachtCharterFleet’s editorial guidelines, ensuring all published content reflects the brand’s luxury aesthetic and voice.
- Mentor and guide junior writers or freelance contributors, providing constructive feedback to uphold editorial excellence.
- Conduct thorough fact-checking and research to guarantee the accuracy and reliability of all published materials.

**Market Insight & Strategy**
- Monitor trends, emerging destinations, and developments in the yacht charter industry to inform and refine content strategy.
- Collaborate with the Managing Editor to align content initiatives with business objectives, including audience engagement and lead generation.
- Partner with the SEO team to optimise content for discoverability and relevance, driving organic traffic and enhancing user experience.

**Collaboration & Communication**
- Work closely with internal departments, including marketing, design, and development, to ensure the cohesive presentation of website content.
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including yacht owners, charter brokers, and influencers, to secure exclusive features and interviews.
- Represent YachtCharterFleet at industry events and boat shows providing comprehensive coverage and reporting for the website.

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**

**Essential**:

- Extensive experience in the yachting and luxury yacht charter industry, with a deep understanding of yachts, destinations, and the luxury lifestyle.
- A proven track record in producing and managing high-quality editorial content for websites, magazines, or luxury brands in the charter sector.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with meticulous attention to detail and grammar.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in website content management systems and SEO best practices.
- A passion for storytelling and crafting compelling narratives tailored to an affluent audience.
- Native or advanced English proficiency is required.
- Confidence in representing the brand at events and building relationships with industry stakeholders.
