Data Steward Partner
Do you love data and wish that you worked with like minded people? Here’s your opportunity.
We are looking to recruit to our newly created Data Steward Partner role.
On a day to day basis you’ll collaborate with our business wide data colleagues, leading and coordinating steward activity, bringing together knowledge and understanding alongside the data to identify business needs and implement data capabilities.
You will lead on the identification, management and resolution of data stewardship issues through gathering date, data documentation and review of data requirements. You’ll work with the wider data team to ensure data quality is paramount.
You’ll be responsible for understanding and communicating the impact of data changes across our systems.
You will lead on the documentation of data definitions, you’ll work on data quality assessments and you’ll be developing measures for data quality metrics and sharing information.
**About you**
This won’t be your first step into the data world, you’ll come with strong analytical, numeracy and statistical skills. You will ideally have previous experience working with data cataloguing or data dictionaries.
You’ll understand the regulatory and legislative environment that we work within, within an exceptional knowledge of GDPR requirements.
You’ll love understanding the data journey and your strong attention to detail will really support this role.
You will be a natural people person, able to bring together like minded people but also able to adapt your message for all audiences to ensure understanding
You will be happy working remotely as this role doesn’t require you to work in one of our offices. However you may be required to attend face to face meetings from time to time so being happy to travel to HUBS in our operating regions will be required.
**What’s in it for me**
We invest in our colleagues because we know if they have a better day at work, the service our customers receive will be better. The Aster Offer is our offer to our colleagues to ensure they have a great day at work and includes things like:
- Flexible working - whilst some roles need to be carried out in a specific place at a specific time, where possible we encourage our colleagues to work to their own schedule at a location that suits them, their team and our business’ needs
- A focus on colleague wellbeing - workshops, an employee assistance programme offering counselling and support, mental health training and a health cash plan
- We invest in colleagues’ careers and development through our leader and colleague development frameworks
- Defined Contribution Pension and attached life assurance
- Volunteering hours available to all colleagues to enable them to give back
- Savings at cinemas, gyms, holidays, days out, various shops and eateries and lots more
- Enhanced leave
- We celebrate colleagues who go above and beyond with a range of personalised recognition initiatives, and monthly and annual awards.
**Ready to apply?**
To apply, please use information provided in the advert and role profile to let us know why you’d be good for the job. Please submit a copy of your up-to-date CV along with a supporting statement.
We create an inclusive workplace that promotes and values diversity and believe that creating an environment where everyone, from any background, can do their best work is the right thing to do.
