**Job Description - Business Administration / Hire Desk Controller**
**Company description**
VOCON Traffic Management is a privately owned company with 25+ years combined Traffic Management experience in installation, design and planning are committed to providing customers, employees and the public a safe work zone while maintaining an efficient flow of traffic on the public highway.
VOCON Traffic Management has established its operational depot and back office support team strategically located close to J25 of the M1 near Derby, our Yorkshire depot based in Sheffield 5 minutes from J34 of the M1 and Leeds depot based just off J31 of the M62.
**The Role / Opportunity**
We are looking for someone who enjoys been involved in all aspects of running a business, On a day-day basis you’ll work with the operational team in the back office building great working relationships with our internal and external customers and ensuring we translate our customers’ requirements into the services that meet their needs. You will strive to put our “Customers First” resolving any issues quickly and keeping your customers informed, so that they feel truly valued.
**Key aspect of the job will involve**:
- Auditing Asset Management system vs actual plant on hire
- Weekly system maintenance checks (BMS)
- Populating basic new supplier packs
- Compiling job packs/ Risk Assessments within the company system.
- Maintaining system setup for company tracking software
- Creating Job packs and allocating to our team of field engineers and traffic management crews.
- Creating and Distributing basic MI
- Co-ordinating planned and reactive Traffic Management requests, efficiently and effectively.
- Dealing with inbound customer enquiries and job requests.
- General Back office Business support, ensuring our customers get a great customer experience
- Supporting the Management team in other areas as required to ensure we meet our customer requirements.

- Comfortable working as a part of a small back office team
- Who enjoys planning and organising and working in a busy but friendly team environment.
- Pleasant nature and Great communicator with external customers - both written and verbal
- Good knowledge of IT-Microsoft Office - Excel Spread sheets, Mobile Apps & Works Mgt Systems.
**The package**
- Hours Full time/Part Time - Mon - Fri
- Salary: £25k to £30k - Subject to experience
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Apprenticeship, Graduate
Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
