Sewing Machinist

**We have an exciting opportunity due to growth and are recruiting an additional Sewing Machinist Monday to Friday**

Our client is an award-winning and market-share leading manufacturer and supplier of clothing and accessories for sports, and fitness, who are looking for multiple sewing machinists to join their team.

- ** £10.50** -** £11.55 **per hour + bonus

**Shifts**:

- 7-4pm Mon-Thu & 7-1pm Fri.
- 40 hours per week.
- Feeding material through the machines
- Stitching together other items, using guides and templates for positioning and badge stitching
- Designing pattern instructions and within quality measurements
- Regular routine maintenance and ownership of machine/ equipment
- Feed and remove production stock as required
- Ensure standards are maintained to the highest level
- Always maintain a safe and clean working environment

**What we need from you**:

- Proven ability to work to tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Able to cover sickness and holiday absence on other machinist lines
- Ability to work individually and with a sensible degree of flexibility
- Experience working within a fast-paced factory setting
- Positive work ethic
- Good standard of general education (including Mathematics & English)
