- The Sheffield Branch of Teaching Personnel are currently seeking to appoint a Specialist Teaching Assistant to implement work programmes 1-2-1 and in small groups, in and outside the classroom. We have a school in Doncaster, DN7 who are looking for adedicated Teaching Assistant from September._

**Job details**:
Full Time/Part Time Availability from September onwards
Pay: £70-85/day, dependent on experience

**Main responsibilities**:

- Establish positive working relationships with pupils - Setting expectations and becoming a role model for behaviour and engagement
- Promote inclusion in and outside the classroom
- Responding to the individualised needs to pupils
- Promoting independence through thoughtful academic scaffolding
- Working alongside the teacher and senior leadership team to create, evaluate and differentiate lesson plans that meet the needs of students with specific needs
- Track and feedback progress and achievements to students
- Prepare and maintain specialist resources and equipment for learning activities
- Utilise de-escalation techniques to help manage potentially challenging behaviours
