**Health & Safety /CDM Advisor (House Building) - Bristol Region**

**The Role**

Reporting to the Construction Director, you will be required to provide HSE support to multiple sites across the Bristol area.

You will be responsible for:

- Carrying out Site Inspections and Site Support Visits,
- Providing technical & HSE support to Site Management Teams
- Undertaking targeted monthly checks
- Attending monthly meetings
- Supporting Client HSE Advisor
- Finding practical solutions to issues that arise on site
- Interacting with site management teams and building trust & solid working relationships
- Incident and accident investigation
- Carrying out External PC / Client Inspections
- Delivering In House training for operatives and management teams.

**About You**:
**Qualifications, experience and training**:

- UK Based Construction / House Building experience is essential.
- NEBOSH General /Construction Certificate.
- 5 years’ experience in a similar role (desirable)
- Available Immediately
- UK Driving Licence

**Personal Abilities**:

- The desire to drive the continuous improvement of H & S on site.
- The personality to interact with workforce & management alike.
- The ability to produce detailed, informative reports in a timely manner.
- Excellent time management skills.
- The ability to manage your diary efficiently
- Excellent interpersonal skills & the ability to build relationships.
- The willingness to travel (Some occasional overnight stays will be required)
