General Operative or Labourer

We are excited to be recruiting for a new role within our** Voids workstream in Burnley. We seek a General Operative /Labourer to join our high achieving direct trade workforce.**

**The General Operative role**:

- Driving long wheel based/Tipper you will complete residential clearances, collections, delivery of materials and general cleaning/housekeeping duties to enable the swift completion of our void (empty property) refurbishment tasks
- Other tasks could include but are not limited to, attending courses to up skill and support specialist works/trades, mould washing, rip outs, gardening maintenance/housekeeping and supporting skilled tradespersons
- Representing Ian Williams in a professional and friendly manner when talking to customers (residents) and internal stakeholders, always.
- You will ensure yours; the team and the customer's Health and Safety is at the forefront of everything you do, ensuring all working environments are safe and the relevant documentation is completed at all stages.

**What will you bring as General Operative?**
- Previous experience of working as a Labourer or General Operative in a maintenance or similar trade-based environment would be very advantageous but not essential
- The ability to work professionally and considerately in a range of public and residential environments, with a flexible, positive, and can-do attitude, essential
- The ability to use initiative and problem solve whilst also recognising the importance of communicating and working effectively with others.
- Possession of a full current UK Driving licence, which is essential to undertake the General Operative/ Labourer role, van included
