**Job title**:**Senior Designer - Mechanical

**Salary**: £36,000+ Depending on skills and experience

**What you will be doing**:

- You will be directly supporting our World Class Submarines by producing 3D models of either Pipe routes, HVAC systems or mechanical compartment arrangements using the CAD toolset
- Your responsibilities will also include producing 2D drawings and electronic data and BoM item development to a fast - paced schedule to support manufacturing, installation, and testing of our products
- Develop and maintain close working relationships with other Design team members and Stakeholders who are working towards the same common goal
- Working as a team to produce an Integrated Design that meets our client’s expectations and agreed set of requirements

**Your skills and experiences**:

- Understanding of CAD toolsets and techniques e.g. AUTOCAD, Foran, Solidworks and Siemens NX etc. in both 2D (Diagrams) and 3D outputs (drawings and models)
- Understanding of mechanical routed systems at both 2D and 3D level in either piping or HVAC design
- Experience in Mechanical Compartment Integration / Room Integration and or Engineering Standards at Component / Equipment level
