The company

A well-established company who are leading specialists within their industry are now looking for a Trainee / Accountant to join their fantastic team This is a great opportunity for someone who has passed their AAT level 3 or currently studying towards theirACCA or CIMA.

The role

You will be provided with a great level of support while training and assist with duties such as:

- Managing supplier payment runs
- Reconciling the bank, intercompany, suspense accounts, fixed assets and VAT accounts
- Calculating and paying monthly inter-company amounts
- Preparing monthly prepayments and accruals
- Maintaining the fixed asset register
- Supporting the Management Accounts, Statutory Accounts and the budgeting processes
- Preparing quarterly fee calculations
- Debtor analysis and collection

What you'll need to be successful

You will have at least one years accounting experience and be enthusiastic and eager to learn. As well as:

- 3 A-Levels, one to include Mathematics or a degree
- Strong numerical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Team player
