Blossoms on the Chase Day Nursery is a private nursery setting based in the heart of Cannock.

**Job description**

We are looking to recruit experienced qualified level 2 or level 3 staff members on a part time basis to join our nursery as we expand our team here at Blossoms on the Chase.

Applicants must be available to work 3 full days minimum between Monday-Friday, between the hours of 7am & 6pm. Minimum 24 hours each week.

The role is with full key person responsibilities. Experience with Famly/online learning journals also desired.

**_The fun bit: _**

You need to be innovative and fun in your approach and show you can multi task, there is also an expectation you will carry out key person responsibilities such as observing and carrying out activities with children, and setting out and providing experiences that will stretch and challenge our little Blossoms.

Apart from the usual paperwork, knowledge of legislation and the EYFS, confidence, ability to be a great team player etc is also on the agenda, you MUST also have the following before applying:

- Have a warm smiling face that makes every child feel special
- Be able to laugh at jokes you do not understand, or find funny **Preferably have a little bit of quirkiness, If a child requests you to be a captain of a pirate ship you will be the best Capitan you can be**
- The ability to sing in tune is not necessary, however the ability to sing out of tune and to a crow is essential
- You must be able to distribute warm hugs as required. **Processing skills to rapidly count the heads of numerous small moving children is essential ** You just be prepared to have lots of fun (as well as work hard) in the work place. Laughter is something you can expect to engage for a large part of your working day.

Shifts are usually 8.5 -hour day between 7.00-6.00. Salary dependent on qualification and experience.
