Bluestones staffing is working with a leading distribution company in the antrim area and due to continued growth they have a requirement for an immedidate start Driver/Warehouse Operative

Hours Monday to Friday 8am -5:30pm

Location Antrim beside Junction one

Salary £26,000 k Per annum

**Duties**
- Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Organise and maintain inventory within the warehouse, ensuring items are stored correctly for easy access.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- Assist in preparing orders for dispatch, including packing and labelling items accurately.
- Conduct regular stock checks to ensure inventory accuracy and report discrepancies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse area to promote a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding inventory levels and any issues that arise during operations.
- Drive delivery vehicles as needed, in vans, ensuring timely delivery of goods to clients.

**Skills**
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong communication skills to facilitate teamwork and effective interaction with colleagues.
- Ability to drive various types of vehicles, including commercial driving experience preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for operating equipment and performing basic maintenance tasks.
- Must have van driving experience
- No more than 3 points on license
- Must have good georgrpical knowledge
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail in all tasks undertaken.
- Capability to work efficiently under pressure while adhering to safety protocols.
