Airfreight Supervisor

1. Develop and setting up Air freight products and solutions for UK/Europe market, focusing on the air freight sector.

2. Focus on negotiation and integrating with external suppliers - eg. Airlines, 3PL agents, hauliers etc.

3. Integrating suppliers ‘resources and constantly seeking improvement on the solutions costs.

4. Setting up and reviewing airfreight and DDP/DAP pricing structure from time to time.

5. Setting up pricing structure and SOP, and review constantly with Sales & Operation team.

6. Coordinate with UK sales team to develop cost effective and optimise solutions for sales team to secure business.

7. Coordinate with HQ and China overseas branches to support UK/Europe local operation costs and optimize suppliers’ services.

8. Attending relevant trade shows or industry activities when necessary.

9. Coordinate closely with Operation team to ensure all the shipments liaise with the relative suppliers.

10. Ensure all invoices for suppliers ‘invoices are raised and input into CAMS system accurately within required deadline before payment process to suppliers.

11. Regularly running UK/Europe airfreight volumes, to review market development and performance.

12. Constantly cross-learning with Seafreight team and covering for Seafreight team in their absent.

13. Maintaining a good data filing system.

14. Escalate any concerns to the Line Manager timely.

15. Perform other duties as required.

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Understanding of Air Freight operation is essential.
- Must have DGR certificate as per IATA requirement
- Excellent computer skills and Microsoft packages - Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Minimum 5 years working experience in freight forwarding or airline industry.
- Fluent in Business English and Mandarin is highly desirable.
- Strong organisation skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Positive helpful attitude reflected in all communication.
- Highly customer service focus
- Ability to prioritise and work under pressure.
- Flexibility and able to work under fast-paced environment.
- Able to work well in a Team and make decision on initiative.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
