Our client is a well regarded top 100 commercial law firm. They are looking to expand the team with the appointment of a partner to be based in their Bristol office.
Family is a key area for development and this role is an important priority for the firm. The role would involve developing a family offering for the firm from Bristol so ideally you would be a senior lawyer already operating in the market with some existing connections to work referrers. You will have autonomy to develop your practice in a way that suits you so it might be that you have existing work and a team of assistants who could come with you or perhaps you enjoy the business development side of your current job and are excited by the opportunity to develop something yourself.
You should ideally have a background in HNW family work including divorce, financial remedy, private law children and cohabitation. The client base for the firm is local, national and international and clients are often senior business owners or C-suite employees so there may be complex issues to involved such as trusts, pensions, business arrangements and international aspects.
