Summary The helpdesk is the principle point of contact at the Finance Service Centre for National Trust staff, suppliers and customers. As our Customer Service Agent - Finance, you’ll provide first class customer service when responding to and resolving internaland external financial queries.
Internally this role is known as FSC Helpdesk Clerk.

Your contractual location will be Epsom Court, however there will be an opportunity to explore and agree remote working arrangements which strike the right balance for you and the Trust.
What you'll be doing The primary focus of the role is manning the telephone answering system and responding to telephone queries from both suppliers, properties and central staff. You’ll to be able to interrogate all our financial systems in order to answer queries about payments.You’ll develop a full understanding of procedures and an ability to handle difficult callers with tact and firmness.
Within the Customer Service team this role will work across both the Unit4 Business World ERP and ‘NAV’ systems. There will also be an opportunity to participate in projects and system testing.

For this position were looking for someone who has:
- a strong understanding of what excellent customer service looks like
- an understanding of the principal functions of an accounts payable department and is numerically minded
- an excellent telephone manner with verbal communication skills to match
- ability to work accurately to strict deadlines
