**The Role**:
We are looking to add to our experienced underwriting team based in Birmingham.

We are looking to add an experienced Fleet Underwriter to assist in a mixed portfolio of wheels based policies such as Taxi, Truck fleet and other commercial risks.

**Responsibilities**:

- Underwriting of Taxi Fleet and Truck Fleet policies including accurate quoting and full transparency of new business and renewal premiums in accordance with Company procedures and authority limits.
- Negotiating and relationship building with existing and new with Agents
- Compliance with FCA regulation and Company Training & Competence Plan
- You will be carrying out general administration business support as and when required

**Experience**

Ideally you will** **have excellent communication skills both verbal and written coupled with an excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills, You will have a flexible, adaptable, and pro-active approach to tasks with the ability to learn quickly, you will be very customer focused with experience in working in a demanding environment, You will have excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage your own workload in line with changing priorities, You will be a great collaborator, with the willingness to support others, You will be competent in using MS packages such as MS Excel, MS Word and Outlook, Insurance experience is essential and if you have Motor insurance than that would be a benefit.
