**Shifts**: Shifts times depend on events. 8 hours, 10 hours and 12 hours.

Zero-houred self-rostering contracts or self-employed

Overview:
We are a caring ambulance service who look after our staff and promote clinical development with our Paramedic Clinical Team Educators, this encourages our staff to really care for our patients.

**About**:
MET Medical provides a wide range of emergency and urgent care services ranging from PTS, HDU Transfers and frontline services. Emergency Care Assistants will provide essential support to our team of Paramedics and EMTs to deliver high quality care at music festivals, sporting events and large crowd events

**Job Purpose**:

- Treating patients within the agreed scope of practice and making referrals for advanced medical support in line with the Pre-Hospital Early Warning Score as appropriate.
- Provide assistance to colleagues, Healthcare Professionals and the wider emergency services where needed.
- Patrolling the event site, responding to calls for assistance via the MET Medical communications team and members of the public (this is the team’s primary role at events)
- Assisting at the medical facility, minor injury units and walk-in-centres around the events
- Act in a professional manner at all times whilst representing MET Medical

**Requirements**:
**Essential / Experience**:

- Occupational Experience
- UK driving licence (Essential) - or a minimum of 12 months (No more than 3 points)
- Evidence of Continual Professional Development
- Subject to Enhanced DBS
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities*
- Good knowledge of current procedures and practices
- Good verbal, listening and written communication skills
- Able to communicate across wide demographic boundaries in an appropriate manner
- Displays good interpersonal skills
- Respects and applies patient confidentiality at all times
- Demonstrate a commitment to team working
