The Role:
The NET-A-PORTER team are now seeking a talented Marketing Executive to join the team based in our offices in London on a FTC. Reporting into the INTL Marketing Manager, you will help create, implement, and drive market leading, innovative marketing campaigns across UK and Europe.
You Will:
- Support the INTL Marketing Manager in planning and executing local marketing campaigns on time, within budget, and to a high standard, working closely with the internal teams (e.g. Campaigns, PR, CR, Creative, Production and Buying) as well as with media agencies and other external partners
- Support with the implementation of online and offline media campaigns, from asset briefing and delivery to campaign reporting
- Own day-to-day management and relationships ensuring smooth day-to-day running
- Support the INTL Marketing Manager on the implementation of market-specific strategies and initiatives
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., CRM, Editorial, Site, Performance Marketing, Personal Shopping) to implement a localised approach across channels and service to drive overall business performance in the EMEA region
- Work closely with Marketing Executive, Europe at MR PORTER on cross-brand initiatives and partnerships
- Support the Marketing Manager in the execution of best-in-class events, working closely with the internal teams (e.g. PR, CR, Creative, Production and Buying), to drive both new customer acquisition and existing customer engagement
- Perform monthly competitive analysis and report back to the business on competitor activity and trends
- Maintain NET-A-PORTER’S competitive edge by researching and presenting new ideas across all channels
- Grow as key spokesperson for the region by leading regular internal planning, reporting, research and ad-hoc analysis related to key EMEA markets, including but not limited to input into weekly global activity calendar, weekly regional reporting, quarterly planning, and quarterly reporting sessions
- Support budget management within marketing, acting as the main point of contact between suppliers and our Accounts teams. This includes raising purchase orders and managing invoicing - owning trackers
- Assist with ad-hoc duties and admin as necessary
- Additional opportunity to support the Market Managers on People & Planet initiatives and partnerships
You Have:
- 2-3 years’ experience in business and/or Marketing and Communications roles, preferably in retail, e-commerce, fashion, or luxury
- A creative and enterprising way of thinking, and a love of the luxury fashion space
- Good understanding of marketing principles
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Confident Excel and PowerPoint user
- Aptitude with numbers, reporting tools, and strong commercial acumen
- Ability to identify problems, demonstrate use of initiative and implement appropriate solutions
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Excellent work ethos and timekeeping skills
- Events management experience preferred but not essential
- Proactive, self-confident, and a true team player
